Syrian- Greek memo of understanding on oil explorations signed

Oil and Mineral Resources Minister Ibrahim Haddad and Greek Minister of development Apostolos-Athanasios Tsokhatzopoulos cosigned on Sunday an understanding memo on a cooperation in the fields of oil, Gas and mineral resources.
The agreement provides for offering the Greek and Syrian companies the opportunities of investment and cooperation in the said fields in both countries.
It paves the way for the Greek companies to participate in the next round of the bidding for the open areas in the privileged regions.
