For first time in 20 years, Garang's movement starts open activity in Khartoum

Syrian court sentences five members of al-Tahrir ( liberation) party
He said that most of the other 65 members in al-Tahrir party were sentenced to imprisonment in Syria for periods ranged between 3 to 15 years had completed their imprisonment penalty, and despite of that, the Syrian authorities are still holding them in jail even though one year has almost past after the end of their sentence duration.
