Secretary of state Powell highlights initiatives for tunisia

In talks with Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali in Tunis December 2, Secretary of State Colin Powell discussed the Bush administration's plans to open a regional office for the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) in Tunis in 2004 and progress in strengthening trade links between the United States and Tunisia.
