Shura council participation in the budget

"Ahmed bin Abdul Nabi Macki, Minister of National Economy and Deputy Chairman of the Financial Affairs and Energy Resources Council, has said the Majlis A'shura will participate in reading details of the state general budget for the fiscal year as from 2005," Oman's news agency ONA reported.
The report added "In a statement delivered today, Macki said the Ministry of Finance currently prepares the state general budget for 2004 to announce it during a press conference at the beginning of next year."
