Palestine-Israel, Military, 12/2/2003
Four Palestinians were killed in a new Israeli invasion of the two cities of al-Beera and Ramullah in the West Bank.
Palestinian medical sources said that Saleh Muhammad Talahmi (40 year old) was killed during an Israeli invasion in al-Masyoun quarters in Ramullah, and his body was found under the remains of a building detonated by the occupation soldiers yesterday morning.
Palestinian medical and security sources announced earlier that three Palestinians were killed, including the Palestinian child Mazen Hamdan ( 9 year old), during this incursion operation which started on Sunday evening. Israel said that the aim of this operation is to arrest persons suspected to be activists in Ramullah. Palestinian sources in Ramullah recognized the two other killed men as two members in the military wing of Hamas.
The same sources and eye-witnesses added that seven Palestinians had medium and light wounds by the bullets of the occupation forces during confrontations in which the Palestinian youth threw stones at the Israeli soldiers in al-Am'ari camp.
Palestinian sources said that the Israeli forces detained 30 Palestinians including Sheikh Fadel Hamdan, one of the leading figures of Hamas movement, wanted by Israel and Teiseer Qabalawi, an official from the Farah movement in Jenin. The Israeli forces also demolished the house of Ahmad Bader, a military official in Hamas in Hebron, who is accused of being behind several suicide operations in Israel.
