Chirac visits Tunisia next week

The Elysee palace yesterday announced officially that the French President Jacque Chirac will head to Tunisia next week on a visit on December 3rd through 5th in order to attend the ( five+ five) summit to be held in Tunis on December 5th and 6th.
After this visit, Chirac will take part in Tunis in the summit of presidents and heads of states of east Mediterranean states. The "5 + 5" states includes the five Arab Maghreb states ( Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, and Tunisia) and the five countries of southern Europe ( Spain, France, Italy, Portugal and Malta).
Chirac had an earlier state visit to Tunisia on October 4 and five, 1995.
