A-Shorouk: Syrian expatriates minister underlines Arab presence abroad

Syria's Minister of Expatriates, Butheina Shaaban has underlined the importance of Arab presence on the US. and European arenas to explain the Arab causes and points of view particularly to the US media, people and politics.

In an interview with Tunisian al-Shorouk newspaper published yesterday, Shaaban stressed the importance of existence of an Arab terms of reference in the U.S. to support those who want to stand by Arabs, expressing regret over lack of presence of such terms of reference, even on the Arab level.

She pointed out that "the Zionist, after Sept. attacks on the U.S., succeeded to create a concept for terrorism and to apply it on those who are struggling for the liberation of their usurped Arab territories."
