American soldier drown, three injured in an accident

One American soldier drowned when his car deviated from the road and fell into a water canal near al-Iskandareyah, situated 50 Km to the south of Baghdad. A spokeswoman for the American army said that the soldier is from contingent 220 which belongs to the army police.

Meantime, sources in the police in Karkouk said that three US soldiers were injured when their military car collided with a Turkish oil truck in Fayda town to the south of Adhok area in northern Iraq.
