Damascus film festival on December 6-13

Damascus will host "The International Cinema Festival," from 6 through 13 December, with the participation of more than 43 countries and prominent Arab and foreign movie directors along with and hundreds of films, Mohammad al-Ahmad, the Director General of the Syrian Film Organization said Sunday in a news conference.
Al-Ahmad added that this year's film festival would be bigger than previous events in terms of the number of participants, diversity of films, and simultaneous activities.
He indicated that 450 films would be on during the events, including focus on International Film, Indian Cinema in the Past and Present, The German Old Cinema, The Golden Palm Winner Movies, The Egyptian Cinema, the Women Cinema and other activities.
