Rifaee confers with Tunisian premier on economic cooperation

Head of the Syrian delegation at the Joint Tunisian-Syrian Commercial Committee and Minister of Economy and Trade Ghassan Rifaee met in Tunis yesterday Tunisian Prime Minister, Muhammad al-Ghanoushe on activating economic cooperation between Syria and Tunis in agriculture, investment transport and tourism.

During his meeting with Tunisian Minister of Finance, Rifaee stressed the importance of activating the signed agreements between the two states particularly the agreement of the avoiding double taxation.

Supporting the partnership between the Syrian and the Tunisian investors was the main issue tackled by Rifaee and Tunisian Minister of Agriculture. The two sides expressed interest in exchanging the expertise in the fields of the animal resource and combating the agricultural epidemic and in activating the cooperation in the field of planting olive and palm trees.
