Egypt, Senegal sign agreement on trade exchange

Egypt and Senegal have agreed in principle to a trade deal worth $50 million.
The deal, which includes the export of power generators, tractors and water pumps in return for the import of maize, was agreed by the Minister of Foreign Trade Youssef Boutros Ghali and his Senegalese counterpart, who is currently in Egypt.
During the meeting, the two Ministers reviewed means of enhancing Egyptian-African cooperation and the possibility of increasing exports to Senegal to around $ 20 million annually from the current $ 500,000.
