Record 6.3 tons of drugs seized in Tangiers port

The police and customs agents in the port of Tangiers seized on Thursday in a joint operation a record 6.3 tons of hashish, police sources said.
The banned substance was hidden in a Spain-registered truck carrying a load of tomatoes from Agadir (southwestern Morocco) to Spain. The source said the driver has managed to escape, but his identity was established.
