Portuguese woman injured, two kidnapped in attack on journalists south of Baghdad

One Portuguese journalist was injured in her foot yesterday and another Portuguese joirnalist was kidnapped in an attack against a convoy for journalists when it was heading to Baghdad through the Kuwaiti borders.
The kidnapped journalist is the representative of the ( TSF) radio, Carlso Ralliros. He said in a telephone call with the Portuguese Lusa agency yesterday after several attempts to contact him: I have been kidnapped. The situation is very difficult. I can not talk.
An official at the Portuguese Republican Guard -- a group of which arrived in Iraq on Wednesday -- announced that the British forces are searching to locate the place where the missing journalist is. The Portuguese journalists were seeking to cover news of their contingent composed of 128 members and basically deployed in al-Nasereyah. But it was decided lately to re-deploy them near al-Basra following the explosion which targeted the Italian forces in al-Nasereyah.
