France stresses continued dialogue with Syria
Syria-France, Politics, 11/15/2003

Spokesman of the French Foreign Ministry Herve Ladesus has stressed the necessity for continuing the political dialogue with Syria regarding issues which concern the Middle East region.

In a statement on Friday and in a replay to a question about his country' stance regarding the so-called Syria's Accountability Act, Ladesus pointed out that his country has reservations on all kinds of sanctions which create difficulties instead of finding solutions.

He made it clear that France continues dialogue with Syria through the regular meetings with Syrian officials and discussing all issues with them through a clear language.

He also touched upon the French Foreign Minister's assertion that all efforts of the international community must center on continuing dialogue with Syria.
