Al-Baz: Syria opts for just and comprehensive peace
Egypt-Syria, Politics, 11/14/2003

Egyptian President's Political Advisor, Osama al-Baz, has stressed that Syria opted just and comprehensive peace based on the international resolutions and "land for peace formula."

In a symposium held in Cairo on Thursday, al-Baz condemned the Israeli claims which aim at affecting Syria' stances.

Ha asserted that the Israeli complete withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories to June, 4, 1967 line is the only means for realization just and comprehensive peace in the region.

Earlier, during his meeting with Syria's ambassador in Yemen, Farouk Taha, Yemeni Vice President Abdo Rabo Mansour Hadi reiterated Yemen's stand by Syria against the provocative and unjustified behaviors.

Meanwhile in Damascus, the International Confederation of Arab Trade Unions condemned the so-called Syria Accountability Act which comes in the frame work of the threats and pressures on Syria to change her firm national stances. The ICATU renewed solidarity with Syria.
