Spanish NGOs and Media support Morocco's Condemnation of Racist Assaults against Moroccans
Morocco-Spain, Politics, 11/13/2003

Spanish media and non-governmental organizations said they support Morocco's strong condemnation of aggressions against Moroccans in the southern locality of El Ejido.

Both the written and the audio-visual press have published the Moroccan official communique released on Monday condemning the recent upsurge of "racist and xenophobe attacks against Moroccans" living in Spain.

Morocco also calls the Spanish government and authorities to take the appropriate measures to put an end to the xenophobia wave.

With a new plan to fight illegal emigration, King Mohammed VI wanted to draw attention to the fact that humans trafficking is "a breach to human dignity," the Spanish TV stations report in their news bulletins.
