Bashir promises to lift emergency law
The Sudanese official news agency said yesterday that the Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir informed leaders of Muslim and Christian tribes that he will end the current state of emergency in the country after reaching a peace agreement.

Egypt's Presidemt Hosni Mubarak yesterday called on Israel to collaborate with the new Palestinian government chaired by Ahmad Qrei. "Two Palestinian teen boys died of wounds they sustained by Israeli fire as three others were wounded, while scores of others were arrested in several cities of the West Bank and Gaza Strip and Liath Mazen Subeih, 15, died Wednesday of his wounds he sustained last Saturday in Barqeen town of Jenin by the Israeli occupying soldiers, Palestinian medical sources confirmed," the Palestinian IPC news agency reported yesterday.
