Syrian- Egyptian talks on improving trade

Syria's Prime Minister Naji Otari received on Monday the Egypt's Minister of Supply and Home Trade, Hassan Khedr and an accompanying delegation on bilateral relation and the necessity for increasing enhancing these relations through increased commercial, agricultural and industrial exchange.

Also, a protocol of cooperation between Syria and Egypt was signed in Damascus on Monday to export the Syrian wheat and lentil to Egypt.

The protocol provides for exporting the Syrian Wheat to Egypt with an average of annually 500 thousand tons in addition to exporting 30 thousands tons of red Lentil.

An agreement was also signed for importing 85 thousand tons of Egyptian cement.

The deputy Minister told SANA reporter that these signed agreements reflect both sides' strong Willingness to enhance and strength the economic and commercial relations
