Egypt: One Muslim brother members died under torture

The banned Muslim brothers group in Egypt on Thursday stressed that a member in the movement died on Monday because of torture at the headquarters of the state security department in al-Diqqi quarters in Cairo.

In a statement, the group said that "Saaad Sayed Muhammad Qotub ( 43 year old) died after he was tortured at the headquarters of the state security in Jaber Bin Hayyan street ( al-Diqqi quarters to the south of Cairo), three days after his detention , noting that he was "detained on October 31st and interrogated repeatedly."
