Al Ahram Economics: Morocco-Egypt business council to meet end of November

The Moroccan-Egyptian business council will meet end of November to assess the impact of the free trade agreement concluded between the two states last April, said head of the Egyptian delegation, Yamani Foulfoula.
The two parties will also probe means to foster business cooperation and the possibility of exempting more goods of customs duties, Foulfoula was quoted by Al Ahram Economics as saying.
The paper goes on that Egyptian exports to Morocco reached 55 million dollars in 2002 against 20 million in 2001, while its imports from the kingdom decreased.
Morocco's imports from Egypt are mainly iron, steel, Aluminum, Carbon and Chemical products. It exports to Egypt fish and minerals.
