Moroccan, Spanish women NGOs seal partnership accord

The Moroccan association of support to Small and Medium Enterprises signed recently a partnership agreement with Spain's "Intermon Oxfam" to carry out the 2nd phase of a program to support women business.
The three-year program is also supported by the UN Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) and Oxfam-Quebec.
The first phase of the program, carried out between February 2002 and March 2003, has given birth to several achievements including the set up of support units for women's activities. The units present in three provinces, namely Chefchaouen, Tetouan and Ifrane, provide direct support and counseling to women carrying out economic activities.
