Twenty members of extremist group brought to justice

Twenty additional members of the underground extremist group "Salafia Jihadiay" were brought on Tuesday to the court of appeal of Rabat for charges of plotting terrorist acts.
A first group of eleven men, aged 27 to 44, were arrested in Rabat. They are facing charges of criminal association, plotting terrorist attacks, terrorism advocacy, inciting to terrorist acts and circulating banned documents and books." Another group of nine men aged 30 to 40 were apprehended in Sale (Rabat twin city).
They allegedly held clandestine meetings and used to rob people of money to give it to defendants sued for terrorism. They also used to advocate last May terrorist attacks in Casablanca and underwent military training in a forest camp, northeast of Rabat, MAP reported.
