Al-Shara gets phone call from al-Faisal, Gul, Kharazi

Syria's Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara on Wednesday received a phone call from his Saudi Arabian counterpart Prince Saud al-Faisal during which they had consultations on latest developments in the region.

Talks dealt with the conference of the foreign ministers of Iraq's neighboring countries due in Damascus next week.

Al-Shara also talked on the telephone with his Iranian counterpart Kamal Kharazi on the situations in the region and the forthcoming conference of the foreign ministers.

Earlier in the day, Shara and his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul discussed the situation in the region and the bilateral relations between Syria and Turkey.

Gul said during the phone call with Mr. Shara his country welcomes the foreign ministers' conference.
