Al-Assad confers with Chinese communist party delegation

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad received yesterday a delegation representing the Chinese Communist Party headed by Member of the Standing Committee of the Party's Political Bureau, Wo Quan Ching.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the relations of friendship between the two countries and the situation in the Middle East particularly in Iraq and the occupied Palestine.
The delegation stressed China's support to Syria's just issues and to her struggle to restore her legitimate rights.
