UN official criticizes conditions of freedom in the Arab states

The UN assistant secretary general and director of the Arab office of the UNDP Rima Khalaf has criticized the conditions of freedom in the Arab states.
In a press conference in Cairo, Khalaf said that the report on the Arab Humanitarian development explained that certain Arab states have taken terrorism as a pretext to oppress and suppress freedoms.
She indicated that the decrease in freedom is not only limited to the Arab states, rather European states and the USA witnessed several violations of human rights and ethnic and religious discrimination against Arabs and Muslims.
Khalaf's statements were made in a press conference for members of the report of the Arab humanitarian development report in Cairo, organized by the secretary general of the Arab League, Amr Moussa.
