Moroccan minister of public sectors modernization, Najib Zerouali, started this Monday a 5-day visit to the Canadian French-speaking province of Quebec where he will be meeting local officials on promoting bilateral cooperation in civil service.
The visit is part of an agreement signed between Morocco and Quebec in 1999, in the field of administration modernization and enhancing governance systems.
Distance-learning, human resource management, gender equality in public administrations will be among the issues the Moroccan minister will be discussing with Quebec officials, the Moroccan embassy in Ottawa said.
Zerouali's stay will also be marked by the launching Wednesday of the Moroccan-Quebec book on Women's Access to public management executive positions.
The Moroccan official will further meet in Canada's federal capital, Ottawa, chairman of the civil service commission, under-minister for human resources management at the foreign ministry, dean of the public affairs and management school (University of Carlton) and officials from the Canadian agency of international cooperation.
