Al- Baath Regional Leadership statement on ME conditions

The Regional Leadership of al- Baath Arab Socialist Party in Lebanon has stressed that Syria, under the leadership of President Bashar al- Assad is now stronger than before in confrontation of threats and lies.
Following its meeting chaired by the Regional Secretary Qssem Qanwah in Damascus yesterday, the leadership said in a statement that "all the facts stress Syria's determination to foil the conspiracies being fabricated against her." The statement referred to Syria's commitment to the Iraqi territorial integrity and to enable the Iraqis to determine their own affairs.
