Bishop Battica confers with Sudanese Delegation

Catholic Patriarchal Vicar Isidore Battica received in Damascus yesterday a Sudanese delegation headed by Chairman of the Southern States Coordination Council Rick Fay Cook.
Battica underlined the strong relations between the two states asserting the necessity for improving relations to include all domains.
He added that Syria under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad witnesses a continuous development referring to the coexistence among religions in Syria, a matter that contributes in realizing peace and stability.
For his part, Cook stressed the deep relations between the two states asserting the necessity for making use of the Syrian experience in achieving coexistence among religions.
