Two Moroccan directors prized at montreal's new cinema, new media festival

Montreal's 32nd international festival "New Cinema and New Media (FCCM 2003)" which winded up Sunday has awarded to Moroccan director, Hakim Belabbes, its special prize for his "Les Fibres de l'Ame (Soul Threads)" and to Narjiss Nejjar the public's prize for her "Les Yeux Secs (Cry No More)." The two Moroccan movies were selected among more than 300 movies from some 50 countries screened at the festival.
The New Cinema and New Media festival aims at encouraging and supporting new tendencies in media.
