Suzanne Mubarak, symbol of Arab, African culture
Egypt-China, Politics, 10/21/2003

Chairman of the Middle East Strategic Studies Center of Shangahai University lauded the role of Egypt's First Lady Suzanne Mubarak in bolstering cultural and educational activities.

The Chinese people consider First Lady Suzanne Mubarak as a leading figure that effectively contributed to enrich culture, arts and education in Egypt and the whole Arab world, he said.

The statements came during the Shangahai University's celebrations on the sidelines of inaugurating the Egyptian archeological exhibition " Treasures from Ancient Egypt."

The Family Library dedicated new group of books to the Suzanne Mubarak Library of Shangahai University inaugurated in 1999 during the visit of President Mubarak and his wife to China.

China places Egypt on its priority at taking any decision on the Arab region or the Middle East due to its political, cultural and civilizational role and due to the wisdom of president Mubarak, he noted.
