King and queen of Spain arrive in Damascus

At the invitation of President Bashar al-Assad and his wife, the King of Spain, Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia arrived in Damascus on Sunday in an official visit to Syria.
A royal and an official delegation headed by Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs Ana Maria Palacio are accompanying his King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia.
