Wide Arab denunciation to the American Accountability act against Syria

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabeh Berri has asserted that the US House of Representatives' approval on so-called Syria Accountability Act "is considered an American green light for the Zionist entity to practice the aggression on Syria," In a statement issued in Beirut yesterday, Berri said that this bill is a US translation for the Israeli aggression on Syria adding that the synchronism of the aggression and the US act is not a mere coincidence.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Speaker of Lebanese Parliament Elli Ferzli has stressed that this act is a "Zionist resolution of an American Foundation."

In a statement to SANA correspondent today, Ferzli said that what happened yesterday at US House of Representatives was an expected matter as a result of the "Zionist Lobby's dominance on the US arena."

Lebanese Mufti Sheikh Mohammed Rashid Kabani, for his part asserted that the US House of Representatives' approval on the bill targets Syria and Lebanon in a bid to impose the Arab surrender paving the way for the Israeli hegemony.

In Malaysia, Egyptian foreign Minister Ahmed Maher, on the sidelines of the Islamic Summit started today, described the US bill as "baseless, and unjustified and it can't solve anything calling for holding a dialogue to solve any issue."
