Al-Shara's speech before OIC meeting

Syria's Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara has underlined that ending the Israeli occupation of the Arab territories and allowance of the Palestinian refugees to return home as the only solution to what Israel is facing.
In a special session following the opening session of the Islamic Countries Foreign Ministers meeting, al-Shara said that "Israel perpetrates the worst kinds of terrorism against the unarmed Palestinian civilians ignoring that it is Israel who created the Palestinian refugees problem and deprived them from their right to return home."
He said that Israel, "with the knowledge of everyone of all, possesses nuclear weapons without directing any international condemnation to it," pointing out in this regard to the Syrian initiative at the UN Security Council for "freeing the Middle East from weapons of mass destruction."
He reviewed the international political incidents which the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) "through stressing the importance of the Islamic countries' adherence to organization resolutions, statements and recommendations in order to achieve their hoped purposes and protect their dignity."
