Princess Lalla Meryem extends French first lady children protection prize

Morocco's Princess Lalla Meryem, chairwoman of the national Observatory of Children Rights, handed on Saturday to France's First Lady Mrs. Bernadette Chirac the Mohammed VI prize for children protection in recognition for her activities in social and humanitarian fields.
In an acceptance speech, France's first lady who had toured the Observatory offices thanked Morocco and the princess for the prize and hailed Morocco's efforts in promoting and protecting children. On the same occasion, Princess Lalla Meryem launched the nationwide "Neighborhood Internet" program and cultural and sports compounds for children and teenagers.
