Tehsreen: Damascus asks for compensation on the Second Gulf war

The Syrian ministry of economy has decided to ask for compensations estimated of 188.5 million dollars for the Gulf war of 1990.
The Syrian daily Tehsreen said yesterday that the ministry of economy has prepared a report that will be submitted to the "UN committee for compensation after correcting previous demands, according to the report and recommendations of the negotiating committee."
The paper said that the ministry estimated its losses "inflicted on it and affiliated establishments at 188.5 million dollars."
