EU will not impose sanctions on Syria similar to the American's

The European Commission has announced that EU doesn't agree on USA's new direction to impose sanctions on Syria clearing that the EU's stance towards Syria didn't change.
The European Commissioner for External Relation's spokesman said in a statement to SANA today that the EU will continue the discussions with Syria to sign a partnership agreement with her according to what EU Commissioner had announced last month during his last visit to Syria.
"We are in discussions to reach a partnership agreement with Syria. The policy of imposing sanctions on Syria is not useful," the spokesman concluded.
