Sudan-Syria, Politics, 10/9/2003
The Sudanese National Ruling Conference began in Khartoum yesterday deliberations with the participation of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party's delegation headed by Member of the Regional Leadership, Waleed al-Bouz.
In his address to the conference al-Bouz stressed Syria's firm and principled stances represented by rejection foreign occupation, complete commitment to the international resolutions and to the unity of the Arab rank.
He stressed the importance of the popular mobilization to support Arab resistance, the Sudanese struggle for the realization of its unity, stability and security and the Syrian and Lebanese people's struggle against the Israeli aggression asserting their right to liberate their occupied lands.
He underlined that "the Israeli aggression on the Syrian lands is an expression of its racist policy and its failure to liquidate the Palestinian Intifada" asserting that Israel's resort to force and aggression will never lead to the realization of peace and stability.
He expressed Syria's appreciation over the Sudanese stances towards Syria and the Syrian firm principles.
He underlined Syria's care for the Sudanese national issues asserting that Syria's participation in the conference confirms the deep ties between the two parties.
The conference began its deliberations with the attendance of more than 6000 members and with the participation of more than 15 party delegations from Arab, Asian, African and European countries.
