Russia eager to consolidate relations with OIC

Russian foreign minister, Igor Ivanov, announced in Moscow Tuesday that Russia wants to consolidate its relations with the Jeddah-based Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) which is holding its summit this October 16-17 in Kuala Lumpur.
"We deem that the reinforcement of relations between Russia and the OIC will serve peace and help resolve the problems the international community is facing," Ivanov told the press.
