News on those missing in Iraq raise fears of the Kuwaitis

News reports in Kuwait said that there is a state of sadness and concern in the Kuwaiti street following news that a mass grave was found for 100 Kuwaiti prisoners in al-Rasheed camp, southern Baghdad.
The reports said that the Kuwaitis in general and relatives of the missing and prisoners in Iraq, in particular, were in a state of horror, after news reports quoting the Iraqi daily al- Sheraa said "that a mass grave was found in al-Rasheed camp. The agency said that all those killing were assassinated following the eruption of the second Gulf war in 1991.
The agency continued that "testing the remains of the killed persons proved that they were injected by a poisonous material at the instructions of the former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein, in particular, who after that ordered the assassination of the nurses and doctors who carried out the injection operation so as the news not to leak leaving not eye-witnesses for what had taken place.
For his part, the official spokesman for the research team for prisoners and missing Fayez al-Anzi denied the news. He confined to saying "we are making our contacts to make sure ourselves, and to try to contact the Iraqi paper which had published the news."
On the other hand, the chairman of the national committee for the Kuwaiti prisoners and detainees Sheikh Salem al-Sabah discussed with the chairman of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) steps of the next phase in light of recent information stated about the prisoners.
The deputy chairman if the national committee for the Kuwaiti prisoners and detainees Ibrahim al-Shahin said that a meeting of the technical committee stemmed from the prisoners' tripartite committee will be held on October 12 at the presence of Iraq's representative.
Worthy mentioning that Kuwait had officially announced on September 17 that the total number of Kuwaiti prisoners whose remains were found in Iraq tolled 34 prisoners.
