Syrian Mufti confers with British royal institute delegation

General Manager of Syria's Grand Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Keftaro Center, Salah al-Deen Keftaro received in Damascus yesterday a delegation representing the British Royal Institute for Defense Studies headed by Lt. Gen. Roger Lockwood.
Keftaro briefed the delegation on the institute's aims underlining the Islamic values of tolerance and respect.
He stressed that Syria witnesses a state of national unity under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.
He pointed out to the aggressive attack facing the Arab and Islamic nation asserting the danger of extremism.
He underlined the necessity for making distinctions between terrorism and the legitimate resistance.
