Khatami: strengthening relations with Lebanon, Syria serve ME stability

Iranian President Muhammad Khatami has stressed that strengthening the relations among Iran, Syria and Lebanon enhance the stability and security in the Middle East.
During his meeting with Lebanese MP -- the leader of the Lebanese Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Junblat in Tehran yesterday, Khatami said that this cooperation is considered the hope of the region. He commended the Lebanese National Resistance and stressed the necessity for boosting the solidarity and confidence among Lebanese Peoples.
