BCP bank privatization put off until 2nd trimester of 2003

The 20% privatization of the state-owned Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) was postponed to the second trimester of 2004, announced Tuesday a press release from the ministry of finance and privatization.
The postponement "will enable an objective assessment of the bank's results, the release said.
