Morocco-France, Politics, 9/30/2003

Relations between Morocco and France are exemplary, French former foreign minister, Hubert Vedrine, said on the fringes of the international forum of the Tunisian weekly "R?alit?s."

These relations are good, friendly and trusty, Vedrine told MAP, adding that lots of efforts were made to promote these relations that are "stunning by their solidity."

"Apart from France, Morocco is the country that I know the best and that I love," he underlined.

Of the Maghreb, he said it is in the interest of Maghreban countries to consolidate cooperation and joint stances in order to have a greater weight vis-?-vis Europe. "They should draw inspiration from the actions of Europeans who had several contradictions and disagreements," he went on.
