Morocco, EU seal tomato export agreement

After one year and a half of hard negotiations, Morocco and the European union reached this week an agreement on Moroccan low-duty tomato exports to the Union, which will amount to 190,000 tons this year, and 220,000 tons in four years. In counterpart, Morocco will import 0.4 to one million tons of low-duty European wheat, depending on national production. When it is less than 2.1 million Tons, the wheat imports may reach one million Tons, and 0.4 million tons in case it does not.
