Ramses II-Hittites king peace agreement found in cuneiform

The Egyptian -German archaeological expedition which works in Sharkia found yesterday the peace agreement concluded between Ramses II (1290 -1224 B.C) and the King of Hittites written in cuneiform on a big stone.
Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA) Zahi Hawas said the stone was found in bad condition and contained 11 lines engraved in cuneiform.
The stone also contains the diplomatic messages exchanged between the two kings.
