Majlis A'shura elections preperations done

"The Ministry of Interior has completed all necessary preparations to facilitate Majlis A'shura election process which is scheduled for 4th October, according to Sheikh Said bin Mohammed al Braiki, Governor of Musandam, Deputy Chairman of the Main Committee of Majlis A'Shura Elections and Head of the Information Committee," reported the official news agency this week.
ONA said "In a statement published in Oman Newspaper today, Sheikh Said, said a total of 506 candidates will stand for Majlis AÕshura fifth term elections. Those include 491 men and 15 women."
The report added "As many as 83 candidates will be elected as members in the Majlis representing 59 wilayats."
