Morocco, Mauritania pledge to consolidate cooperation

Morocco and Mauritania pledged to consolidate cooperation through a framework agreement of partnership and cooperation between the Rabat Sale Zemmour Zair region in Morocco and Mauritania's Corgol.
Under the three-year accord, the two regions will cooperate to achieve economic, social and cultural development, mainly in vocational training and labor promotion, public works, new information technologies and communication.
The consolidation of cooperation between the two regions in culture and arts, exchange of experiences in environment protection, preservation heritage and the reinforcement of bilateral relations are the major objectives of the agreement.
Besides, a framework agreement of technical cooperation was signed between the Rabat Sal? Zemmour Zair region and ENDA Maghreb (Environment and Development in the Maghreb) to implement development projects in relation to environment and sustainable development, in collaboration with the state and national and international institutions.
