Al-Rai Aam: Straw: solution for the ME question needs inclusion of Syria, Lebanon

British Foreign Minister Jack Straw has stressed that the solution for the Middle East issue should include the Syrian and the Lebanese sides.
In an interview with Kuwaiti al-Rai Aam newspaper issued today, Straw expressed hope over freeing the world from weapons of mass destruction not only the Middle East.
Concerning Iraq, Straw stressed that the British forces will stay in Iraq only till the transmission of authority to the Iraqi people.
He asserted that stability and security in Iraq will help in the transfer of authority to the Iraqis as soon as possible.
