Emirates: No relations with Israel before peace
United Arab Emirates-Israel, Politics, 9/25/2003

News reports said that Dubai has attained its own attraction and international position which pushed Israel to remark on a special relations that has started between the two countries; a matter which required a special answer from the United Arab Emirates official confirming that there are no intentions for normalization between the two countries before the "end of the sufferings of the Palestinians."

The main organizer of Dubai's meetings, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Dubai's crown prince and the UAE defense minister said that the UAE people were just "hosts of an international meeting," and that the presence of the Israeli delegation which is represented for the first time in an Arab state which does not have diplomatic relations with Israel, is not an indication towards normalization with Israel.
