Annual cotton festival opened in Aleppo

The 48th cotton festival was opened yesterday in Aleppo. Syria's Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Adel Safar talked about the developments in Syria in all domains particularly in the field of agriculture stressing the importance of agriculture in the national economy.
He asserted that the successful policies and work mechanisms which were adopted in Syria lead to self-sufficiency in most of the agricultural crops. He underlined that Syria's agricultural experience expresses Syria's success and stability.
